Nxa Technology is looking for an energetic and vibrant Debtors Controller to join their dynamic team. To ensure the timeous collection of Nxa Technology's debtor's book in order to optimize cash flow, minimize risk and reduce outstanding debtor's book to an acceptable level. To ensure the company policies and procedures are adhered to in respect of handling debtor accounts. To timeously alert the management to potential collection problems. As a billing clerk, you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of financial information. Since you will be using technology to expedite your work, a degree of computer knowledge is required.
The goal is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and safeguard the company's income.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)

Customer Service
  • Engage with debtors in a professional manner
  • Follow-up on all debtors enquiries received
  • Resolving daily debtors queries and ensuring query resolution register is maintained

Administration Daily: Responsible for the following:
  • Pre-paid and Post-paid clients
  • Daily tickets
  • Invoicing, credits and credit reporting
  • Cancellation processing and monthly reporting
  • Follow-up on debtors related issues and the tracking thereof

Debtor's debt management
  • Debtors Reconciliations
  • Escalations & Handovers
  • Meet with our collections agency once a week and give by-weekly feedback and report
  • Ensure all Legal handovers are discussed with Operations Director and signed off
  • Maintenance on Pastel accounts
  • Journals
  • Refunds
  • New Account codes
  • Updating Google docs on a daily basis
  • Update on CRM with notes

Month-end Responsible for the following
  • Debit order checks
  • Preparation and posting/emailing invoices
  • Preparation and distribution of debtor's statements
  • Billing checks (pre-billing)
  • Reporting (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) on outstanding debtors

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • 3-4 years working experience in debtor's collection environment
  • Familiar with Accounting Packages, Pastel Evolution will be an advantage
  • Proven record of keeping the debtors book on current and thirty days.
  • Full Function Accounts Receivables.
  • Ability to reconcile complex accounts
  • Must be able to communicate well internally and with customers
  • Must be highly organized, self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Computer Literate - Microsoft Office (Excel advanced); Pastel Partner / Evolution

  • To establish and develop business relationships with prospective clients over the phone and generate new business for the organization's products and services
  • Internal Sales Executives are not client facing
  • Target-driven cold calling and appointment setting
  • A minimum of 40 cold calls a week

  • A minimum of 2 successful proposals (wins) per day
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers

ROLE | WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold call via telephone, and email to describe products and/or services in order to persuade potential and current customers to purchase new products and/or services.
  • Ability to close sales over the phone - [Tele Sales to business customers]
  • Educates customers on product offerings and services to improve their "on-line presence" and explains pricing and answers questions from customers building value in the customer relationship.
  • Follows up with customer via telephone or email following initial sales contact.
  • Identifies customer issues and provides appropriate solutions via up sell of additional products and or services and obtains customer commitment and facilitates delivery of product.
  • Complete basic Rates Negotiation with customers where required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and maintain Communications and VOIP solutions for clients:
  • VoIP PABX Solutions and virtual PABX Systems, Voice Gateways & Data Routers.
  • Configuring VoIP/Software based PABX solutions and VoIP phones, configuring/converting of various routers and switches to effectively communicate via Analogue/BRI/VoIP(SIP).
  • Identify and repair faults both on site and remotely.
  • General VOIP and communication maintenance and call outs.
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Maintain VOIP infrastructure equipment including (Porta One) soft switch and SIP User agents such as Yealink and Grand stream.
  • The position is working directly with the Support Team & Managing Director of the company and will require taking responsibility or responsibility for parts of the Communication solution projects as per customer needs.

Requirements
  • Must be willing to travel for work - valid driver's license - Must have own Vehicle
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the VOIP industry working on technical tasks.
  • Experience in both remote support and installations of VOIP communication solutions.
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills to ensure fast problem identification and resolutions.

The support technician is expected to have knowledge but not experience. A basic knowledge of hardware, operating systems (Microsoft Windows and/or various flavours of UNIX) and local area networking is essential.

  • Collaborating extensively with peers and resellers to resolve issues within accepted time frames.
  • Ensuring that all service requests are updated comprehensively within the ticketing system.
  • Fulfil standby duties as per set roster.
